So we've just started a Bay Area Demoscene meetup group and will very shortly be adding our GDC demoscene side-event details! Pending final approval of the venue this will be on Tuesday after GDC (and more events planned in the future). Stay tuned :)

To be clear, Tues 15th, 7-10pm but arrival at 6:45 should be ok too. Last gdc event of the day ends at 6:30pm - the company I work for will provide pizza and drinks at the venue

I will post the meetup event as soon as I can, I'm awaiting response from the venue administrator to confirm but it should be a formality. I will need a list of attendees on the day so make sure to sign up if you would like to come along, hope you can both make it :)

Hey firebug, likewise! Thanks to everyone who came, it was a nice meetup for sure! Thinking about tweaks, for next time I would adjust the table arrangements so that a standing area is closer to the big screen and you can actually see the demos :D But a nice gathering at such short notice :) Lets see what we can do next..

So ,what about GDC 2017?

I won't be attending this year but i live in the bay area. A meetup would be cool
