WebVR on desktop is not quite there yet, experimental browser builds are quite instable and buggy, currently the plan is to bring (stable) WebVR to mobile first(Cardboard, GearVR) then focus on desktop. If you want to do "high-end"(Oculus/Vive) VR you're better off grabbing some OpenGL/DirectX VR boilerplate from GitHub and code ahead, for now.

@smash Phantom lost was very nice! I only got to see the youtube 360 version though.

When will you guys add a WebAssembly export to notch and show Unity/Unreal how its done?
I presume WebGL2 (OpenGL ES 3.0) is not good enough...?

got recent oculus but it's still like peeking through a screen mesh compared to the vive
got it because more stable image and i use it with a racing simulator mostly, so not getting sick is a plus

I've a Oculus Rift CV1 and Samsung Odyssey HMD (imported from the USA, and sadly with a small dead subpixel on the right panel for the right eye, but it's still a good test device for me, at least, as long as I don't consciously pay attention to the dead subpixel).

And I've ported also the OpenVR API headers to Object-Pascal and did also a small test example project with it:

I have that the Lenovo Windows Mixed Reality headset and I like it. It was the cheapest I could find (bought it used in ebay us, got it shipped here, still ended up at around €250). I think VR still needs 2 or 3 gens to be "there", but it's a nice toy to play with, and coding a spinning triangle that almost feels like you can touch it feels really good.
