I'm starting my own new Text Mode Demo Archive.

Does anyone have any demos to suggest that should be added to it? I've already grabbed everything from the TMDC archive, as well as the already existing (yet outdated) TMDA website.

Anyone have a favorite text-mode demo to suggest? I'm using a loose interpretation of the word "text mode", so even if the character set or palette is modified, I'll gladly accept that into this collection.

Yes. I *am* including BBS ads (i.e. Future Crew's Starport BBStro). If it's even remotely textmode, I will include it.

I'm open to including other OS text-mode demos too. Keep suggesting. :)

Razzia in 4k... buggy and never fixed, the same goes for the sequel (which was fixed by mados once but a hdd-crash followed...).

Things are going very well!

The main thing is gathering files which have broken links here on Pouet and identifying non-TMDC textmode-related demos for inclusion.

I plan to put something online by this weekend (at the very least a central repository for the files to start with), along with possibly a new ARTS episode? :)

strictly speaking.. no. it doesn't actually make use of the built-in terminal emulation, but it does have ascii art and fx as major ingredients. then again, strictly speaking the terminal emulation is not even a real textmode anyway... so you decide :P
