Thank you organizers and visitors, we had a good time.
What Superplek said.
it was fantastic!
Fantastic party indeed; a warm welcome and cold Kölsch! Huge thanks to orgas, visitors, contributors, bar staff, DJs, Knights of the Order of the Barbeque.

Back home. Thanks for the awesome weekend - both to all organizers and the nice people i met!
Photos from ted and me can be found at the usual location:

Other than that: solid party, as usual. I also love how the weather turned from crap into perfect pretty much exactly when the party started. $deity seems to love Evoke too :)

After getting home and regaining some energy I can now say for sure that this was the best demoparty that I've been to. I'm definitely going again next year, to celebrate 20 years of Evoke. That's going to be epic.
Awesome compos!!!!11

Home again too, which seems all too soon. It was a fun party! Happy to say that my missing wallet resurfaced inside someone else's bagpack, I had accidentally deposited it in there instead of in mine. Now shower, some food .. and rewatching the compo entries.
Thanks for the awesome party, good times were had!
I enjoyed it a lot, the superb weather helped a lot and the record breaking amount of 18 entries in the pc democompo was a nice suprise. Thank you for the opportunity to tell my own story.
That being said, I did noticed a two minor issues:
-the documentary that started in the morning could have been played later that day, so people could get some more sleep. Talking voices from the P.A. are next to impossible to ignore. To be honest the fact that my airmatress died the first night surely didn't help :)
-the people in the hall with their soundsystems remembered me of days long past, when gamers competed in bringing the loudest and biggest speakers to let them run 24/7
The demo I was working on was kinda fragile, with the theme and all that. Being unable to hear myself think with earplugs and a headphone to block the music didn't help either. Luckily this one was turned off at intervals and not running 24/7 but it was LOUD. I loved the music that you guys played so it could be worse I guess :)
Anyway, minor issues in what was otherwise a smooth operation. The beamer+screen had so vibrant colors that I was suprised everytime that yellow ad came along. I smiled a bit when I thought someoen had turned the lights on: it was just a blank white screen illuminating the entire hall. Kudos ! Cold beer, warm free coffee, Krawallbrause and a huge amount of lovely people made this a very warm friendly party. I kinda needed this! Oh and the bouncing castle was a nice touch as well!

Ah yeah, I also meant to mention about the quality of beamer+screen. And the incredibly good TVs that were repeating the mainscreen... I don't know if this is a regular Evoke thing but it was so cool to be able to be outside or in the chillout area and still be able to watch.
One enhancement would be if the outside PA could be switched over to hall audio when nothing else is going on outside (although I guess the current config encourages people to come to the big screen).

Ah, talking about the screens ... some minor(!) nitpicks here: the main and secondary projector were not color-matched very well, and the main projector seemed to apply some slight, but annoying edge sharpening. You could call it "anti-antialiasing" :)
Man, as usual, this party and all the sceners there feel like family :)
Friendly, crazy, full of laughs and unexpected improvised glorious unforgettable moments.
Thank to everyone involved, both the orgas for being so great, and the participants (18 demos... just wow... the old days are NOT gone!!!!)
Now I wont thank you for the post party depression will only strike stronger.
(But I will certainly thank you for making it happen next year again!)

This year's evoke was so awesome. Over 480 visitors, and really good releases. I enjoyed myself a lot, definitely will be returning next year! Thanks for everything @orgas :)
Thanks to all the visitors and organizers - it was again great to participate this year again and see soo many compo entries!!!
<3
fantastic party like everytime. <3
Great party, huge thanks to the orgas!
As numtek, I found the people in the hall with their way-too-loud sound system quite annoying. But I also failed to simply walk over and ask nicely to turn it down a bit, so I don't really have much right to complain I guess. ;)

Great party and I really, really enjoyed the releases, some great stuff.
As mentioned above, I also was at times a little annoyed at people playing very loud music. Sometimes in between compos and other events you want to get some quiet, especially if you are working on a party prod ;)
Would also love to have more party things, like maybe an OHC or smth along those lines, so that people can creatively work with each other at the compo.

Great party once again, thanks to the organizing team for your work and for people handing in great demos to the compos :)
I did, was met with little to none understanding. This was during the outside dj-set of Bombe & Dojoe, and they played so loud that you could hear them when you were out listening to B&D.
This.

Thanks for the awesome party. This year I had to party twice as hard because I missed last years evoke. It worked!

Lots of it.
