Yea but I think an even better solution would be having a dummy SceneID code that just pretends you can log in. I can wrap it up in a few hours along with some updates on how to install the site.
hmm. is it normal that the random prod widget takes about 3 seconds (server-side) to load and delays the page that much? if I add 3 of them, the delay is 9 seconds and you see the page relayout at that point (i. e. if they are in left column it starts with 1-column layout, and in middle column with 2-column-layout).

why is it firewalled? does it work with a whitelist and you had to beg for pouet access already? =)
no idea who and how decides whats allowed or not, absolutely no controll or knowledge on that. fex. csdb was blocked aswell for half a year then allowed again. possibly its just blocked because its not "verified" yet as not harmful. currently its listed as entertainment/download, which is not allowed ;)
Then ask for id.scene.org to be unblocked instead of trying to circumvent it.
If we try to make everything correct, then pouet.net should be listed as entertainment as well...
