and yes, this WIP has antialiasing...but has no HypnoGlow, just DoF...and in this still-image there´s no DoF applied to geometry closest to camera.

hardy: Yeah. Gonna try some additive Gaussian blur sometime. So far I stay clear of buffers (which you don't need in that case) and other things that are not strictly shader tool agnostic. ;)

Some glassy stencil/mosaic bla with a rushing tunnel ball; the forefront will look wavier(?!) after a while, as you can see from the time stamps.

@jco:nice, tho the front one looks a bit bad in a still, at least. The blurred one in the back is amazing and this is a kind of thing where motion will just improve it a lot.

@visy: tnx! and I agree. it's actually a still from an animated sequence, which is still rendering (~50s/frame on intel 6600U). this is just part of my ongoing "learn cinema 4d" effort (in this case: lighting, tentacle modeling, basic IK and animation, rendering techniques). the bathroom stuff is stock cinema library (notice the broken triangles near the bottom left. QUALITY!).
