First I've heard of the site, but if it lives up to its claims, it would be way better than YouTube for textmode.

The fact that it does not run natively on windows is probably a deal killer

There's a port of the Bash shell for Windows, but the demo would have to be written to run in a Bash instance for this to work. I don't think you could just run this and run a pre-existing (non-Bash) demo and get a capture.

There are a few Linux/Unix demos that actually do run on a Bash terminal that might work - this one comes to mind offhand, but there are more.

Other problem: does not capture sound.

So, these guys reinvented the unix "script" command?
