2. ps: well MAYBE the user validation feature would be nice to activate? :D

gargaj: we already have a validation thing on sceneID, but its only email check i could add a few Q&A to allow pouet activation though. after exams..
Q&A wouldn't really solve anything, questions can be answered in any way...
It's a tough question - not allowing duplicate emails would probably be the first step I would take. (Duplicate IP-s might work but they would possibly deny people on common dialup hosts.)
Maybe the best idea is to run thru all registraions thru a manual validation system - this would slow down the process, tho I don't know how many registrations you would get daily - and of course, it's boring.
Anyone else with a better idea?

Hmmmm... Where can I get one of these... "fan-clubs" you speak of...?
radman: i think you have one already aswell....
Ahhh. So THAT explains the burning crosses on my lawn!
did you find your cat yet radman? (hint: it's stuffed in your mailbox)
how to skin a cat innit :)
[off] 'bout validation topic :
a VERY simple thing which was done on one russian forum seems to work PERFECTLY for more than a year, and yes, its a forum many woud like to troll at ( i wont tell its name and thematics for some reason tho ).
the thing admins ( two ppl ) did was just _disabling_ registration. And if one wants to register he has to send email to admin and fully explain why he wants to join this forum.
In case of pouet i'd add Q/A in the form of test ( many answers given ) and if test is passed then you have to send an email ( as described above ). It wont be that hard to create 100+ questions database for random testforms.
