No'Mo' (Monotonik evil twins) .MODs/.XMs dug out!
category: music [glöplog]
Hey folks,
So someone was asking me about digging these out, and I managed to find them on an ancient CD-ROM - the 10 releases from No' Mo', which was Mono/Monotonik's 'secret' rival bootleg weird commercial remix .MOD-label in 1996-1998. Thought some people might care, files are here:
https://archive.org/download/nomo-mod-archives
I also found a CD-ROM with an archive of Pigforce.nl on it, and I'm wondering if it has some files not on Scene.org or Modland, so I'll try to poke at it soon!

Thanks a bunch Simon, I'm obsessively unleashing recursive wget on mono211/monotonik/whatever materials since 2001. Still have an almost-complete mirror of the site from back then, including the infamous Dr Fetid sicko tune collection. ;]
Nice! By the way, does the source material for the mono mp3 releases still exist? There are some quite bad sounding encodes in the archive, would be great with flac rereleases now that we're not on modems anymore. ;)
+9999 to what absence said
lovely and ace, thanks!
Re: MP3 remasters, in almost all cases, I was sent the MP3s at the time, so only the original artists would have higher encodes. *sadface*. I agree a bunch of the encodes are 128kbps or so and it's not the best. Maybe a remaster project at some point! But in the meantime we're working on getting some of the MODs converted to MP3 in nicer form and maybe starting a YouTube channel for casual playing.
i recall you had some mp3 nomo editions aswell. have the tori amos remix lying around somewhere but i recall there were others. any chance to put those back available aswell?
oh, you added them meanwhile, cool! thanks!
