return to the source
Ithaqua, wonderful, I'm sure a lot of people will find it useful.. After only opening 2 files I found something that I wanted to see someone elses implementation of =)

Also, as everyone else says, very well structured and documented code!

structured? neat?? documented??? are we dealing with a proof that some commercial entity is trying to take over the demoscene?

Really, I'd say the opposite - most of the commercial code I've seen is much worse.

thanks ithaqua for releasing this! i don't quite think any of the magic is lost just like that... not until someone releases a demo (using this code) so good that outshines stravaganza's ones... wich is pretty damn hard, with or without their sources.

It's a good thing that someone releases their code. I looked at the source briefly to see if it's possible to port it somewhere (it is not: too much Visual C specific stuff at least to me).

heh, when sesse managed to port vip2 and it's damn mfc-hell to linux, i bet someone can port this demo somewhere also ;)

I once ported (very badly) a demo that was extensively built on BeOS API. Since that I've not been willing to spend more than few hours porting anything -- it's not THAT fun :vP

you're still going through the infinite pains of writing easily portable code, though! (and i thank you for that, for otherwise no texas for me, but still)

By the way, it would be nice if someone could send me the sgzMaxTools plugin compiled for 3dsmax7, as I currently only have the sdk for max6.
And thanks for the feedback guys :)
