Sundown 2015 - 7-9 August in Budleigh Salterton - 10th Anniversary Edition
category: parties [glöplog]
Catched the DJ set over at Scenesat yesterday with Deathboy that was nice but missed compos and stuff as i was helping at #GUADEC2015 but i guess everything will be uploaded to scene.org later as rc55 told me on twitter, so will check all releases when i got spare time next week :)
We had such a great time with all of you at Sundown, thanks for all the fun!
Thank you Steve for being a wonderful host before and after the party, one of my personal highlights each year is paying you a visit and it's always excellent fun to hang out with you and hit the local pubs around Exeter. Rhubarb Cider, OMG!!
Greg you had me in stitches with the impromptu music set at the beach, words cannot describe what happened in Budleigh that night! :D It was also really good to see you again and I'm looking forward to next time!
Starchaser, thank you for the Mountain Dew bottles, first time I ever tried it and it was indeed very fruity lemony stuff! The key fobs also look rather nice, tho I won't be using it on my key seeing how Sent's keyfob broke into pieces after a day. It looks nice next to the Revision and Nectarine keyfobs I have in the cabinet, tho :) See you at Revision next year, I hope!
And finally a big massive Thank You to Ruairi and his team for pulling off this fine 10th anniversary edition of Sundown. We are looking forward to the next one!!

I hope that doesn't happen to any of the other ones, however I do admit while they seemed strong enough to me the ring hole is rather exposed, unlike the Revision ones. I think perhaps I should switch to just making pretty tokens. :) I should be at Revision, at least I can't see any reason at the moment why I wouldn't want to go.
Stuff please! :)
Sundown was great this year. As always :)
My key fob is surviving so far on my key ring :) It seems pretty tough at least.
And yeah, that beach concert was both great and hilarious. M0d's cat purrs like an anus :)

Will you upload all releases on scene.org during the month ?
No, they will stay offline forever
That was one of the best demo parties I've been to, thanks to rc55 and co. for making it happen.
Missed Lug00ber's set that didn't happen! Really liked Gasman's networked ZX speccy hackery.

I'll get hold of Kris and get the releases up soon. I have a copy of them on my Desktop but they are sort of stripped down and ready for quick viewing. I'll try to get a complete upload done within the week - sorry it can't be sooner, have a lot of work obligations to catch up with.
I think two releases, mine included, are already up. Not much, but at least a little help.
Remind me next year to take a backup before I leave. Which reminds me I better get my entry uploaded soon!
Just want to say a big thank you to all who turned up this year. Especially those who made release, including you lovely remote guys!!! More so to all the other crew members who give up a large party of their party experience to make this happen.
Sundown is particularly special to me because in 2010 it was my first demo party since like 96 or something! The catalyst for all the awesome people I've met and experiences I've had which followed. May this crazy tradition continue for many years to come!

It's also linked from the subdomain so it's easy to find if you forget where.

Another fine edition of Sundown, I'd say. Same as always, nice relaxed mood and friendly people everywhere :)
Thanks to Savannah and H0ffman for being great hosts and travel companions, Psionice for once again being my beer supplier as well as hooking me up with some nice music, all crew for making it happen and everyone there for the wonderful atmosphere that is not like any other demoparty.
A very special thank you to Zeb for driving me to Exeter, and keeping me fed and entertained for an hour when I didn't catch my train!
Large up all Rosehill Rooms And Cookery massive!
Thanks, but as long as you keep coming to parties I'm sure you'll get other chances :)

Oh, also! Don't forget to have PartyMeister or whatever output the results file for upload here on Pouet. Should also be a way to get the vote totals? (just a little thing for Demozoo) :)I'll get hold of Kris and get the releases up soon. I have a copy of them on my Desktop but they are sort of stripped down and ready for quick viewing. hey ruairi did you get the mod i e-mailed to you?
MrsBeanbag, if you mean the Puzland Theme, then that was indeed played during the tracked music competition.
Also, any chance of getting the SceneSat broadcasts up in the archive? I didn't get the chance to listen during the party. :)
Here ? :)
I'd forgotten that puzland tune, that was really good :D Proper oldschool game music with great melody :D
