The nordlicht Logo looks like : "TheyRiot"
Hope you have much fun there. :)
puryx, where are you?
On the left side of the hall - with a white DUB t-shirt.
Home again: pretty exhausted and dead inside but hey, what a ride!
I (or we) will make a bigger thank you post later (and also upload the results), probably it will take a day or two, tho.
Here is the short version from my side:
- Sorry for not delivering in terms of straming. Of course we had to change our videochain improptustyle and it turns out audio over HDMI is not a good idea if you want to have two different input sources... also the video matrix we used was pretty slow so it was enough trouble for us switching the bigscreen already. Additionally we had some problems hooking the Framemeister (which basically rulez!) up to the Capture Card so that was kind of the oldschool showstopper :/. We hope to improve next time.
Apart from that the network was working fine it seems, as I got no single complaint about it. Thanks to RbR and Viprinet (Red and Eha) for their strong support in this regard.
We had some great releases, many of them already on pouet, and even more awesome people at the place.
Thank you for Nordlicht 2015!
Additional kudos go out to Bonefish, who was kind enough to take care of my Amiga 600 while I was busy with other party stuff. \o/
Now, sleep.
Long.
Hard.

At the same location, please. It was great.
full compo results over at the zoo (thanks to RbR and SunSpire for letting me snarf a copy from Partymeister :-) )
Beautiful party, great people, awesome location!
I liked how the Lichthaus is right next to a huge temple of mass consumption -- not just for the (debatable) nom potential, but also for the steady stream of muggles giving us weird looks =) I'm with gaspode in that I'd like to see more Nordlichter happen there.
The tent was a very nice touch -- it appeared rather underused, which is a pity, but I think that depends a lot on the weather.
Also, kudos for running the oldschool demos on actual hardware. Given the clusterfuck I would expect this to be, I think it went really smoothly. A better HDMI matrix would be a worthwhile investment though - maybe we can snag one of the magic converters from Revision ;)
The compo delays wouldn't have bothered me had I not been the last DJ and started at 0300 in the morning. I think I managed to keep you guys awake pretty well for a while, and I love you all for dancing your asses off in spite of the late hours! <3 Still, if there's anything that can be done so the last DJ (whoever that will be) doesn't have to start at three, I'll be happy to help in any way I can ;)
Speaking of which: http://bit.ly/nl15set - Tracklist in id3v2 comment as usual.

you know that party is amazing when you get the feeling that it's too short.
also, what people are mentioning here, and we already told you several times - party place itself is great, but location is amazing. maybe even too amazing, as we spent too much time enjoying the stuff that location had to offer (amazing and cheap food selection, shopping, wellness,...), spending precious party time.
if you manage to get a same location for the next year, i'll be there 100% for a vacati.... err... party! ;))
music releases were great, some nice gfx gems also, oldskool compo have a lot of entries (so I enjoyed it a lot), and winner of a wild compo was a perfect ending to a all. pc demos was more on a 1k-8k side (read: coder pr0n), so I've enjoyed them a lot even more (especially those with amazing Virgill tunes. ;)))
didn't mind that 3-4 hour compo delay, even that it was painful at the moments (and especially painful next day, when I woke up after just a 2.5 hours sleep to catch another early flight).
also, wysiwtf - regarding your Amiga, glad that we've managed to do everything planned and fixed the unplanned. ;)) not to forget the Blueberry, that gave me a extra pair of hands when needed, handling a unsoldering pump like a pro, despite not used ever before. you can't go wrong when two amiga coders are doing hardware fixes on your amiga. ;))
