Christian Artin aka Varou aka Cybernostra and organiser of the Main party left us yesterday and will be remembered for his endless optimism, for believing in and making the impossible: a demo party in Marseille. So long Varou, and thanks for all the fish.
Oh, that's sad! :( Met the guy at Main 2010 and had some nice chats with him, he was a good dude. Goodbye Christian.

Very very sad news, I visited two early editions of MAIN party and the way Cybernostra welcomed us will remain a warm memory forever. RIP Christian!

Not only Christian did so much for the demoscene, and for the digital culture in general, he was also a good man. Didn't know him much, but each time we met he had this level of kindness that you generally wish for but don't expect from anyone.
He will be missed for many reasons. My thoughts go to Brigitte and all those who were close to him...

I typically do not say much positive things about humans, but Christian really has been a most friendly person, plus he did a lot for the scene. A big loss both to the scene and humanity. Good bye.
