I met an old man in the ship to St.Mount, who was a Linux fanatic btw, claiming that Microsoft is evil because when he opens some windows data files with notepad, he notices many series of 666! That man had also the wildest argument against GUIs. When you try to click and select files, you may accidentally make a mistake for a slight move of the mouse pointer, resulting into opening hundreds of files or sending them to the printer ;]
Then, in my early days on the net I was getting a lot of pyramidoid emails. Twice or three I forwarded them to my email contacts. One of them, replied back, swearing at me, being really angry (I pissed in my pants). I apologized and then he explained me about the magic behind pyramidoid emails, that they really affect the masses (In a way, they do). And the ultimate conspiracy, that Bill Gates forced us to write WIN everyday we wake up, and due this way he won! =)
