i get often dreams about demoscene, mainly related to our marshals group and it's members, do you have dreams about that too? =)

last time my dream was about Evoke2004.. i was at the party, everything was really strange, big rooms, many people, it even didn't look like demoparty.. in the midlle of a room there was BIG paper and there was written "THESE SCENERS DIED IN 2004".. and it was huge list.. i remember i couldn't recognise anyone except Vincenzo (sorry guy, i don't know why YOU :).. i asked Nagz how did he die and he answered "it was really bad with him".. then i get lost in mirror room and somebody shot someone with gun and there were some other things : )

i dreamed of the announced mudfight between rasputina, diamondie and random people involved after breakpoint 2003, though that never actually happened. in the end all the people were rolling down a hill right into the campfire and that dream ended somewhen after that. i owe it to the booze and the overall nice party, so one can say it was a cool dream.

btw, nula - why didn't i see you at evoke? not that i know what you look like, but i thought i bumped into quite alot people. =)

I went to The Meltdown XIII (2004), and the day after I feel asleep in my class and dream that I was back :)

Then, after a while, somebody asked me something in the dream and I said "What?" out loud. I might have freaked the lady beside me with that ;P

I've had dreams where I'm at work and sceners start showing up, and eventually I'm not at work.

Dreams are cool.

heh i remember my other dream, we had our own party called marast and when people came we realized our projector was broken.. sooo.. we replaced the projector with strong flashlight and we began to throw children pyrotechnics in front of bigscreen : ) people liked that effects ; DD

I dreamt that I was a giant cockatoo and I was visiting a scene party and I shouted:

"GIMME MY TURN ON THE ANVIL!!!"

But nobody did.

and i was dreamt i set a demopartyplace on fire and then XXX came running up to me with sausages and ham and we had a bbq. Then i had to enter my entry for the mp3 compo but i couldnt find the infodesk and for some strange reason my floppy (which held my entry) was melting and i had to deliver it before it was too late. (notice that the partyplace wasn't burnt down anymore and at my dream demoparties you still have to hand in releases on floppys :D)

I dreamt..it was kind of like Evoke 04, but Digital Devotion was there. I remember lieing on top of Buzzie, he was screaming something about a fist (in the chill out zone). As Ps, Fred and Unlock came over to help me/Buzzie, I managed to pass the water.

After this, I dreamt they had really really good dance music at the Labelnight. I then suddenly realised I hadn't had any beer at all. Again, I successfully passed the water. Truck came over with his towel and started shouting at me. I used the towel.

After this, things started getting downright obscene. Dalezy for instance wearing a pink suit, the norwegian guys weren't drunk either. In the end of the dream I snorted the entire Köln Dom in one go and had a heavenly afterparty right next to the C4 office.

I wonder whether these kind of dreams unveil a new cognitive level of nerdishness.

nula, well, i didn't have a seat anywhere .. in fact i never have any seat at parties. =)

ChaosCom: I was more in the 'Use towel to clean up soiled ground" mode. I would never use the towel on Truck, except if he was wet and in a drunken state of inability to dry himself.

i dreamed i win the demo prize in breakpoint, and everybody in the room try to lick my feet like a god :) it's strange because i'm allready a superstar ;)

I rarely dream about demoparties, prolly because I am not so frequent visitor. My dreams started after some demoparty visits in Germany. Unfortunatelly it must be only 2 or 3 times (or perhaps more if I can't remember) and nothing spectacular or really funny. I remember about a Hungarian demoparty in a factory or a French one in a luxurious big building. I remember meeting german people, like XXX or Madenmann. I don't remember anything else..

I had a weird Pouetish dream once, already posted about that here.

The most ironic aftereffect is when you dream something weird and it feels quite normal in your dream, till you finally wake up. It doesn't feel the same logical outside the dreamworld. Zbs, I dream a lot about coding. I dream opening my CPC and coding teh shit or watching tehsit from other coders, like comlex wireframe objects, flat, gouraud, phong till I reach a demo with raytracing with the mood of Heaven7, at decent frame rate and good effect resolution. And me staring with awe, thinking "Wow, is that possible?!", meditating a little upon code, making the conclusion "Yes, of course it is. If we tweak that register, normalize that vector, precalculate those tens of logarithmic tables..." and other dreamy jargon. Till I harshly wake up with that vision, giving it a second and... "Bollocks! ;P"

p.s. I'd like to see scene girls more frequently in my dreams. I think I used to, but not anymore. Like, Marina the greek Amiga coding goddess! I woke up, almost remembering the titles of her intros from my dream and searched Pouet but I found nothing ;(

about that coding dreams.. i had a dream jezeq was coding some cool effect in basic on C64 in his room, i was outside and watched him behind the window.. it looked great, i couldn't believe it's coded on C64.. there was a bottle of limonade from which flown particles and some weird wireframe model..

i have this really weird reoccuring dream..

it starts with me pretending i can code and then i meet some scener from israel on a belgium airport on the way to wired demoparty.. then suddenly im at boozembly and this guy is running away from this other guy who was trying to sodomise him and he licks my boots and offers me booze.. and then arcane wakes me up and i puke at a big haujobb reunion in some park.. and we win over farbrausch with a demo made during 3 days while we were getting drunk.. next thing i know i end up bar hunting in some weird city in hungary with melwyn/acid rain and we buy this big watermelon and gargaj wont eat it.. and xxx keeps offering me beer and we all sit around this huge campfire in an abbandoned military base and call out for the fire gods and they come and get drunk and roll around in the floor...

its really strange... i wonder what it means...
