Its the sheep gut they use to strain the yeast out that makes beer non-vegan. Same with wine. I bet u are glad u asked now :) of course it could be horse......

mantratronic: In Germany thanks to the "Reinheitsgebot" beer is always vegan. Wine on the other hand is a different matter but even there it's easy to find wines that haven't been filtered with gelatine :)

It seems I'll be driving from Nürnberg to the partyplace on Friday sometime after midday. Details unclear.
