Thanks, the 4k wasn't intentional - but its hard to write bloat on the Vectrex. Had I added music it might of been 32k :)

I kinda figured it won't be much of a hassle to make it 4k - but i didn't know about the levels (you might use a seed for the random or so though).
Anyhow, I'm just utterly happy this exists, especially on a Wednesday :)

The levels aren't random, but they do repeat after a while. I wanted to make it so that people could compare their skill. As such when it gives you a score it also gives you a rating. Its actually possible to beat if you score 999 (in theory) but I doubt anyone will without cheating.

The levels could still use a simple PRNG with fixed seed per level. Something as simple as the one used in Elite ( 8bits fibonacci-style serie with two given seeds IIRC ) would do too.

Loved it! The font in the logo looks a bit familiar; is there a well-known inspiration for it?

The logo wasn't inspired by anything in particular, I was just going for a 70s / early 80s feel. I
Also make use of some diagonals. I didn't just want to copy a font, I'm a fan of old film and tv logos where they are bespoke.

No mikiex, I did not imply anything like this, I was simply hoping that artistically-challenged people (like myself) may be able to find an existing font :)

I've just got no time at the moment , what with the $50k per day I'm making from the adverts in veccy bird..... I might have to pull it from the flapp store :)

I will get around to adding it, but I ought to host it somewhere else other than dropbox.

Nice, just gave it a go on my Vectrex. My highest score was 4, and average score about 0.8 or so I would guess...
So it's as frustrating and annoying as the original - good job! :)

Btw. damn you for doing this first, I had thought about remaking this game for the Vectrex just for fun. Oh well, I have another game in mind as well, so you *better* not do that one as well! :)

-Added Support for Vectrex standard high score
-Fixed another high score bug where it would reset to a lower value sometimes.
-Reduced the maximum score required to win, its now easier to finish the game!
-Added new score name ratings
