Nordlicht 2014 - 25th to 27th July

Hello! We are very proud to announce to you that we have found a new party location and Nordlicht 2014 will officially happen from 25th to 27th July 2014, at the "Schuppen 2 - Eventloft" in Bremen.
* Really big new party location surrounded by the Weser river with space for 150 people
* Superb PA system, bigscreen, fully equipped stage with effect lights etc.
* Party network and internet access throughout the hall
* Large outdoor area with BBQ grill and fire bowl, accessible around the clock
* Drinks and snacks offered by the location's friendly bar team at reasonable prices
* A near infinite amount of car parking spaces in front of the venue
* Within the arms of Central Bremen and easy to reach by car, train or plane
* Shops, hotels, tram station all within approx. 10 minute walking distance
* Competitions, live music, DJ's, fun stuff, and much more ...
The website is currently being assembled and tickets will be available shortly, more infos and updates about Nordlicht will be posted as soon as they become available.

Nordlicht is hiring:
To avoid numerous hickups, a torched compo machine due to emulator use and for a smooth schedule without (too much) delay we are also still looking for an oldschool compo orga.
Taking the last 2 years into account it will be mostly C64 focussed, but there is no platform limitation.
If you think you can help us out (and want to skip the entrance fee) drop us a message!

Perfect location for nordlicht would be a lighthouse ... only space for 10 sceners though. :o)
maali: the tents are just outside of the entrance, a nice place to put the bbq and smoke even if it should be raining (we bribed the weathergods so thats very unlikely, tho).
We only have a few pics of the interior so far but trust me, it's quite big! ^^
You should move palm trees right next to big screen :]

My advice was to move all of them to one area to have a jungle sleeping area.
But i guess there won't be enough of them to do that ^^

Confirmed live acts so far are: Choco Confectioneries, Computadora and DaTucker, more music acts will be announced very soon

- Remote compo entry submissions are now OPEN, please submit your prods to compos[AT]demoparty[DOT]info
- The competition PC will once again be provided by the awesome TUM e.V. and has thus been upgraded to an Intel Core i7 with GeForce GTX Titan Black 6GB
- Due to popular demand, there will be an ASCII / ANSI competition again
We are working on more party features but it is too early to announce them just yet!
