thanks.
... :O
Nice one, Forcer.
Nice one, Forcer.
Awesome job, I'm impressed, I regret I have no such talent (or skills). In my life I spent not so many hours with Photoshop, I have drawn two unrealistic (on purpose I hope, my goal was not to create something photo-like) portraits (one: autoportrait).
The second one:

Nice images Jakim.
Forcer, how much time does it take you to drawing those amazing images?
It depends.
The one with palm trees took me only a couple days. The one with the trailer truck took me much-much longer. I actually started it in September and finished it just before tUM 2013 but I took my time, stopped for a couple of weeks a few times while working on it. I just kept improving it until I run out of ideas.
When I get bored I just stop and get busy with other stuff.
In between while working on that gfx I was busy with other images for Wolf Bekenstein demo and other DOS project.
I just do little by little, refine some stuff then stop for a week or 2 and so on.

Absolutely fucking amazing!
I always wondered how those realistic images get crafted, is it purely photoshop? is there 3d rendering involved?

I use Illustator and Photoshop. I have one vid on Facebook showing how it's done though gfx steps.
I have failed to find it, mind throwing a link?
Woah Jakim, both rock!
TLM,
I have that clip only on FB.

So I discovered MyPaint. Can't fucking finish anything in it, but it sure beats Sketchbook. Except changing brush size is awkward. I made an video! ZOMG
Made this back in 2006 but not in Photoshop but Corel Photopaint but who cares right, guys? RIGHT??
Looks quite accurate. You should make one for Duke Nukem 3d as well :D
Great! Shake it baby, shake it!!
sigflup: whoa. a bit scary but I like the colour areas and "strokes" very much. Not sure about the triangle, though it reminds me of polygon triangle and they are always good 8)
thanks. I don't see the triangle myself. you mean by the nose?
This one I just drew. This is in memory of Terrance Franklin who was shot my Minneapolis police in cold blood. On the right (I'm pictured, find me) is one of our downtown protests. On the left is the minneapolis skyline. No justice no peace.
i actually would propose another thread: "Show what you do in Gimp"! ;o)
i also do sketch club. got some of those in here too. I just don't have photoshop. But then photoshop is kindof a generic term these days
cool stuff sigflup!
Thanks forcer!! That means a lot to me!!
in artrage to be true, PS- only for small color corrections
