Lua Size Coding (Image Rendering)
category: general [glöplog]
It's an open challenge from now on. Create pictures in Lua, like this one: http://tinybrain.de/48
Anybody wanna follow-up on this? Make a home page about it? Develop some rules? It's a new thing.

Why Lua? Why not use something which was made for the job?
Because it completely locks up firefox.
I've been playing around with this for the past few days: http://forthsalon.appspot.com/

Yep.

Because it's made for the job. It's EXACTLY made for the job. No other language has the proper sandboxing.
Which means, what I do on tinybrain.de has not been done before.
A little more interest please, people!!!

But source code shows otherwise: Joseph Weizenbaum's classic Eliza. Shouldn't you give him credit?!

Why would you care about this if you want to make pictures? Even if it might crash something or whatever, the raw computing power of a modern shader compared to an interpreted language makes up for the shortfall by a long margin.
Made the the example more chaotic.
