demos where every note is synced to visuals
category: general [glöplog]
Most demos are synced to the beat at most. I'm looking for demos or sections of demos that are synced to every note in the melody.
For example 'virta' does this a little

Any others you remember?

errrrrr shitloads??? e.g. elevated (the beams), structure 2 (the glow), some kvasigen demo (keys of a keyboard light up). many demos have such sync details here and there..
Really good if you are into textmode https://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=15466
Check Ozone demos.
Ufo, Smoke Bomb, Fetish and the two diskmag announcetros (Trashcan #5 and Showtime #8) are among the most fine synchronized prods ever made.

maybe satori - b10?
(and if you watch b10, watch it realtime or use the video link - youtube utterly destroys it!)
Maali: There may be shit loads but I've just watched 75 videos on youtube of demos and not one has been synced to the melody. It's not common even if there are shit loads hence the question. You named 2 (and a half). Thank you. But is 2.5 a shit load? :-p
well i have better things to do than being a demo-encyclopedia and i have Korsakov from all the boozing so i thought only 3 examples would be sufficient. :P and also that norwegian robot demo, what's the name, by candela would fit your taste!
and also:

b-10 syncs the visuals directly from the XM file and is designed to emulate a synesthesia-like experience, IIRC. Most of the other demos in this thread are "just" well synced. Also check out kasparov and old farbrausch stuff (fr-09 especially). They pretty much re-introduced the "tight syncing to music" demo paradigm in the late '90/early '00s. :)
Various sections of this intro were synched to the trumpet or other instruments: http://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=12790
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pT0F4MCdUhM look at kurli's advanced gnurocket skills! so yeah, which 75 demos did you watch on youtube? :P
Poor Candela is actually from Sweden \o/ (We don't want them)
Not exactly a realtime demo, but it matches your search: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fpViZkhpPHk
leia: all the same fyttipanna!
Not on every note, but remarkable synchro anyway: http://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=702
what tomaes said. with tracker based formats it's shit easy to sync to the note, and there's quite a few examples out there. myself, i'm quite satisfied with the way the 1st minute of the outline 2005 invtro turned out in this respect :)
Try coma light 13 (c64) or desert dream (a500) simple YouTube search and u got it.. ;)
I guess I yet again need to bring up this. It doesn't really have notes in a traditional sense, but fits the criteria nevertheless.
3epkal is a demo I made in 2009 that is rather totally and absolutely synchronized.
The reason being that there is no difference between audio and visuals: a matrix of audio oscillators and operators are fed to visual primitives and operators in a 1:1 fashion.
