category: parties [glöplog]
any news about the compos ?
I hope the Cocoon demo will be available soon on Pouet ;-)
The awards happened last night.
I did not write down the results, or take pictures then, although IC did.
here are my pics, which I will cull along with IC's and send the best to Slengpung

It was fun time! was large for sure.
I don't feel like engaging in rivalry, but it was definitely not bigger than @party. ( ;
Focus on quality, not size. The Android and ANSI entries were especially strong.
The extensive free food was also bonus. Particularly enjoyed seeing Batman Forever on a real Amstrad. That said, I wish there was more in the compos area. I didn't really have much to enter because I'm working on some longer-range things and ran out of time, but entered something terrible (although not as terrible as it appeared, because of technological mishaps) just to enter SOMETHING.

Members of ACiD and Blocktronics joined together to create a 3,266 line ANSI in time for Demosplash. We completed the project just moments before the compo deadline, as tradition dictates. :)
Blocktronics ACiD Trip (1080p)
Enormous thanks to Trixter (Mindcandy/Hornet) for his assistance in helping us capture this project in high definition video. I've never seen ANSI look so good on an HDTV.
