Werkkzeug Community
category: general [glöplog]
Hi All,
We are a small community of werkkzeug fan.
Recently we decided to create a fork of the original werkkzeug4 project from farbrausch to be able to provide new features and changes that we would like to see into the tool and that might not be in the same mindset as fr guys.
The development is very active and we’ve already made several changes: new operators, new effects, new interface options, integration of the physx engine (rigidbody for now), bug fixes and many other small changes. We have also many plans for next features like : physic particles and clothes, extend materials, new effects, new import mesh formats, gpu computing, etc…
We are also interested to promote the tool to extend the community, so we regularly perform tutorials and share examples and many others resources about the tool and how to use it. Some members, like me, regularly use werkkzeug for different projects that are not necessary in relation to the demoscene (promo video, presentation tool, sketch, etc…). We could use others software, but we find that werkkzeug bring us a complete CG pipeline solution extremely fast and easy to use.
We hope this encourages you to come with us to share about the tool and if you want to help us develop it in any possible way (dev, bug fix, test, doc, tuto, ideas, etc…), you are perfectly welcome.
We are here : http://werkkzeug4ce.blogspot.com/
And here : http://erbsen.untergrund.net/board3/index.php
Thanks.
