THE BEER IS OUT!
Not sure if anything has been stolen or not, but according to Shw / DBug (the Atari cracking crew) - Daft Punk's new song 'Get Lucky' from their newest album ' Random Access Memories ' does sound similar to the soundtrack from fr-025, the Popular Demo.
Listening to the track at the moment, I must admit there appear to be some similarities there in the background track at least .....

lmao
Hazel/SceneSat caught that one
Maybe it's really just a remix. /s
wow, that's just blatant stealing! o_O
Just by the wave shape you can notice that it's a remix and the remix consist in a cut of the last seconds.
:D
:D
Additionally, https://soundcloud.com/glxblt/glxblt-biker-mice-from-arse this tune needs more likes and plays. Let's make that happen at least =)
The DrumNBass.net user removed the track, but that Rogue Beatz user still has it up at https://soundcloud.com/rogue-beatz/phatoad-bangin
glxblt should report the copyright infringement (since 3rd parties can't - I'm guessing Soundcloud got tired of people reporting other stuff).
Also: why is it that all these rippers have absolutely terrible sense for names? They just steal tracks and name them shit like "Bangin'"? Jesus :) Not an OUNCE of originality there.

This tweet should surely be worth replying to, dont'cha think? :P 1017 followers on that one...
Ziphoid: done.
I sent the dnb.net folks a message on soundcloud and they responded that they'd take the track down.
This is probably a bit off-topic, but a bit more than a month ago, the people at The Mod Archive have been contacted by two persons claiming to be the same tracker artist called "Timelord". This battle has been fought out on Amiga Music Preservation before, but the AMP admins decided to stay neutral.
I was curious because I really like Timelord's music and so I've done a bit of investigation to find out who's lying. I'm rather confident that I've found the liar and want everyone to be aware of the "real" Timelord, so here's the story I've written about it: http://sagamusix.de/other/timelord/

Thanks Saga, that was an interesting read. I'm just baffled how bold some people are, and still seem to get away with it.
Maybe there was some temporal mishap and the two Timelords ended up to same point in time!
