the manly tactic is arriving back at the hotel at 6am, going for breakfast at 8am, and then sleeping till 3 pm :)
I tried to do this on the last night, went into my room to freshen up a bit first since I was rather wasted and then just woke up at eleven :p
@Saga Musix: glad you enjoyed them! Feel free to put them on Slengpung for collective demoscene welfare and glory ^^
Ibis had breakfast until 11. AND proper teabags this year. ;)
Yeah, i did the "go to hotel at 4:00, sleep until 9:00, do breakfast, go back to bed and wake up at 12:30 to go to hall" that worked ok
(except for the one day I was crying in my bed because of a hangover and the day i slept on a couch in the orgo area, because i called a taxi at 7:00 and realized I had to be on stage in about 4 hours for the prizegiving, which i still don't know how i managed doing because i was so DEAD INSIDE!)

okkie: you looked quite dead outside as well :)
okkie: I was seriously amazed how you managed to do that :-)
we didn't feel alot better as well. our breakfast consisted of loads of the sponsored dextro energy and luckily some crepes provided by madame :-)

Wait, you had BREAKFAST on Monday? Next time you wake me up way before my time you could at least bring me some of it :(
..and then you know that it was a great party :)
We actually had breakfast during the prizegiving :)
The "go to bed at 2, wake up at 7, go jogging with Farfar, Ledge and Booster at 8, eat a healthy breakfast at 9, have gammel dansk shots in room 202 at 10:30" routine worked pretty well too. The first day... The last day breakfast consisted of 2 plates of standalone bacon...

I'm a pro! *cough*
@Ziphoid: I've said this before, but maybe it's been forgotten: If you check with us beforehand, and we set up things well in advance, TG might be able to help you with streaming capacity. It's a bit tricky since the main Revision demo compo is at a point where TG is basically rigging down, but we do have what's essentially tons of free capacity at that point.
@Sesse: I know, and we'll talk more about this throughout the coming year. :) This year, the big problem was not really only the server side bandwidth, but also the client side encoder that was a bit too sensitive and crashed at the smallest hickup, so that will be looked over for next year. Also, the biggest load was actually during Saturday, before we set up BitTorrent Live. We'll surely look into more things during the year that comes and it also looks like the streaming solution that we have for SceneSat might get upgraded to 10gbps and then it also becomes even more a problem for the encoder tool. Let's have another chat at Solskogen. :) ...or, even at Edison, if you guys feel like heading over to Sweden a couple of weeks before we enter Norway. :P
Anyone got the DJ sets? The scenesat ones are totally borked! :( Missing more than half hour of mine in the middle :(
@hoff: I'm working on fixing them. I have them all recorded.
Hi guys,
My first revision, and let say that ... hmmmmm .... IT WAS F*CKING HUGEEEEEEEEEEEE !!
I only sleep 12 hours in 4 days, and don't regret it.
A big thank you to all organizers for the job, you even manage to crash the beam computer and make an improvised beat music with the remaning buffered sound and some mouth (elmobo ?)
Excellent dj set every night, excellent competitions with a special greets to frenchies of course ! :)
It was nice to meet again with you guys and meet some new face.
Now i'm waiting for jingle release (JCO ?) and for the next revision of course.

Could you maybe zip all pictures up and upload them somewhere? That would make things much easier, so that I don't have to download them one by one...
Actually, on a side note would it be possible to get a Revision Revisited jingle put together? I'm starting to build a Scenesat show to revisit the last 3 years of Revision.
Elrick: Puryx has already provided the jingles.
h0ff: let me know if you need anything special for that
puryx: coolio fella, I'll get some lines together.
Just wanted to say that it looked like a blast of a party, and quality wise it ranks, for me, up there with early breakpoints and assembly circa 2002-2007. Demoscene or die motherfuckah
Yes. This year, the quality of the releases was amazing.
@puryx: Meanest jingle ever. Love it!!
Navis: ASD wanna win Revision 2014 ? ;-)
