As I said - my missus (wife) had a serious car accident on Wed. morning.
For all you Euro types the smushed side is the drivers side.




Other guy ran a red light at about 60 kph, had 2 plain-clothes cops in the car behind him, across the road from the cop-shop! Apparently had a nice egg on his noggin.
Cops, ambo's and insurance assessor were all amazed anyone walked away from it. If you're looking for a solid car I'd suggest a Ford Futra (Falcon).

& (for a final plug) - if you're in Western Australia I could not recommend SGIO enough as an insurance agent. We changed to them this year as their premiums were about AUD$700 cheaper.
The agreed value for the car was in our bank acct. today with the car having been assessed on Fri.

Now I know why my Grandad always told me to get insurance.

@ringofyre: is that the missus on the photos? if so, still looks quite shocked. god bless no serious injury!

@Danzig - yes, really distraught at seeing the car - she only saw the passenger side that she crawled out of, but the car sure as hell did what it was supposed to do in terms of protecting her.

Never want to have to do that again.
