alien: I'm not telling you not to bother at all - my opinion is that your effort is better put elsewhere, and that you might need to accept that people will "borrow" from you. If anything it means that your stuff is worth borrowing :)
If the part that was "stolen" was bigger, more important (call what you'd like) then it would a different story.
If it helps this did change my view on some certain sceners work, however it did not make me hate anyone :)

we artists have a right to defend our property even if its not copyrighted or belongs to an openminded group like the demoscene, it still doesnt give ANYbody the right to clonestamp my shit or kenet's shit on his own shit and sell it to the public as his artwork.
