BCN
category: parties [glöplog]
This 'BCN' thing is probably an elaborate scheme to get a huge crowd of stupid foreigners wearing reflective safety vests and condom hats to Barcelona. I just can't figure out what the hell we need the safety triangles for(?)
havoc: in case you go down by car... if your car gets stopped or there's an accident or something like taht... you need to put one triangle at 50mt of the rear of your car... in case it's a two-way road (not highway), then you also need to put another one at 50mt of the front of your car.
And you can't go off the car without the reflective vest (even during daylight).
And yes, most of that stuff is stupid to be -mandatory-, it should just be common sense... but we in Spain do not have common sense when driving :)

corrected Mankind member list coming to BCN:
- Krabob , Slach Robot.
Hmmm i think i had the time to build another sympatic and talentuous mkd member from scratch for the party, but it will never replace exel and zaac, both departed because of house moving .

We'll update the "how to arrive" section asap, but it's very easy to get the partyplace coming by plane, train or car. Don't worry about it.
krabob : you mean zaac and exel leave mankind for good or just do not join the party ?
jcl: please give me your phone.
nitrik, (and for other: scoop info). zaac and exel are always part of the mankind group :-), but actually they ->MOVE->from france to work in other countries, and they are doing it just at the end of october !

maybe it's worth mentioning that on the website, at least in holland nobody wears those :)
I'd prefer to swim without looking retarded, yeah :)
RA5MUS: number, or the whole thing? ;)
After some discussions and investigations (nobody of us have never used renoise :P), we've updated the modules rules and now RENOISE IS ALLOWED. Of course, VST and any other kind of plugins are forbidden.
So, we're waiting your entries :)
btw, about playing modules in his original tracker... we're still working on it, no more news atm.

PS campaign got to its point... Filipe, bring the vodka.
plus:
"You should be able to prove at any time that you are indeed the author of the production, if the jury deems it necessary you will be requested for intermediate steps. Your production can be disqualified if you fail to prove you are the author"
This could generate some funny situation... I hope it only applies to gfx :)

cesare: before you know it you'll be forced to come indoors drunk and acapella the song with your own voice in front of an illustruous jury ;) or not ;) either way, i'll take the vodka, you dont forget them salmiakis!! now back to optimizing this random(0xFF) function ;)
dixan: you're right, it's mainly for gfxs and for mp3 compo. In the mp3 case, you should have the source file from your sequencer, tracker, etc if it's needed to demostrate that you've certainly composed that song. (however, it isn't a common practice)
btw, remember bcnparty rules about alcohol, etc :)

You don't want to see JamQue shouting all around, trust me ;)
Donsi will be allright, I guess :D

we have been at buenzli 2 times in a row in the same luxurious partyhall, and it's still looking great. "we are reasonable people" :D
Hmm, they came close to stripsearching me for alcohol at ASM this year. If only they would've told me what they were looking for -I would have gladly pointed them out to my stash of alcohol (i.e. somewhere back at the Boozembly cliff)
shifter: remember that those people who are in the actual arena security (not 'volunteer' asm security ppl) are working there only because they failed their entrance exams to the police academy but still want to act out their 'respect my authority!' fantasies.
"YOU! WILL! RESPECT! MA! AUTHORATA! *smack smack smack*"
