actually, come to think of it, asm was the only >1500 people party i visited.. all the other 20? were more "sceners only" kinda parties.
and i was defnitly very drunk and very depressed at several editions of asm. \o/ the preparties of asm always ruled though! best times i had!

yea, i remember the riot-e preparty before asm 2001 was really good, like the best thing about the whole party.

well. that must be TG98. I came, I left, I desided never to go to TG again :D Didnt go to a party before Solskogen 2004 (which rocked) after that.

The party 93 in Herning. I was cooked on drugs most of the time and its all a little hazy. It was pretty fun tho....I think.

Tg94: My first big party I attended. Sleeping ban in the hall, everyone had to sleep in a tent that was flooded. I can still remember an inflatable mattress that was floating around there. I took shelter in a closet until an organizer chased me out. Some friends of mine slept inside the air duct of the hall, and had trouble to get out again since some other guys had placed their big speakers in the way. And after the third fire exercise, somebody started a snowball fight against the organizers.

When it comes to old, big parties though I have to mention Intel Outside 4, in Poland 97. It doesn't quite reach up to the 1500 mark, but it had more than 1000 Amiga people, which was simply not happening in western Europe anymore at this time. Petro Tyshchenko, CEO of Amiga, totally drunk on stage, singing and handing out Amigas. Marek Pampuch, editor of Polish Amiga Magazine - even drunker. Loads of old Polish swapper and BBS contacts who just couldn't believe we were there. And the style of the party was totally different than western parties. 1000+ people, 20 computers, Polish style! Zajebiste!
Frequent: hahaha! I remeber that too. Its amazing nobody drowned or froze to death in that deathtrap of a sleeping tent.
Biggest Party must be The Party 1995. Atleast it seemed the biggest. It was in Odense that year if I am not mistaken. Perhaps the ones in Aars the years later were bigger.
Funny moments was smoking weed with Romeo and some people in an abandoned car outside the hall at TP98 or 99. And seeing Arcane dancing in a bra at infront of the big stage.

@Arcane: Intel Outside 1994 was also very nice! I remember a stripper was performing on the main stage when Dreamer pulled her in the audiance.. :) Search youtube for a video for this :)
Intel Outside 2 was mad fun. Also General Probe 3 in 1997 was a classic polish demoparty. Except people were complaining orgas. were messing with results - but that was typical in the 90's ;]
