Zionism rears it's head at pouet?
Meant at the situation Garg, not your comment.
why the urge to count israelies?
As being an Israeli I'm interested to know how many are we in the scene.
I will not be surprised if I'm the only one :(

On reading the title, I thought this was about how many guys Israelis killed recently.
hard to count
can we just stop talking about politics? pouet should be the place where people of different nations can live in peace (exluding flamewars:])
How is this about politics? I thought this was about TLM wanting to find out if there's more sceners in his homecountry...
TLM: The best known israeli group is 64ever on c64. They made the current cdc demo.
bacter usually comes to revision.
i've seen several prods entered in compos credited to "random israeli scener (not bacter)", so there must be more!!!1one
and there's that coaxcable dude, tho he lives in haifa, therefore without going political. he might be blown up as i havent seen him around for ages! :P
I'm a friend of bacter. haven't really meet coaxcable, I know he visits IRC from time to time.
As far as I know bacter and me are the only active sceners in Israel :(
There used to be some local scene in the nineties, but it's all idle now.
vibrator: you are right, not a smart choice of words for the title...

I know two more Israeli sceners, Civax (Ohad Barzilay) and Kombat (Ohad Eder Pressman). There was also a Russian group that emigrated to Israel, they called themselves Andesa. A long time ago I was also occasionally chatting with Masterboy on IRC. None of them seems to be active demosceners any more.
Spoken with Civax few years ago, he said something along the lines of the scene got less interesting the moment DirectX entered.
By the way, I've learned some Hebrew: Achat, shtayim, shalosh, arba, chamesh, shesh, sheva, shmoneh, tesha, eser, achat esre, shtem esre, shlosh esre, arba esre, chamesh esre, shesh esre, sheva esre, shmoeh esre, tsha esre, esrim. Ey'fo sheerotey gvareem? Ey'fo sheerotey nashim? Ey'fo habank? Miklachat. Kaf regel. Ma shlomech? Ma shlomcha? Shalom! Ma nishma? Na chom? Toda raba! Lehitra ot! Boker tov! Layla lov!
I knew 400 Hebrew words a couple of years ago. Of course I have forgot almost everything due to lack of practice. I am not so good at reading Hebrew letters, but with some patience I manage to decipher words.

One of the first groups on the Spectrum scene, at the end of the 1980s, was The Israeli Team. I bet you can't guess what nationality they were.

Erm.. And? Good for you, but then: who cares, really?
gasman: Welsh?
Adok: I'm impressed :)
Where did you learn it?
