Why is 90% of the releases from Kindergarden utter crap?
category: parties [glöplog]
xbit: du veit, den greia med nåla i din brors øye mens du har en trestamme i din egen ;)
Its because children mostly release crap..
kusma, hehe, joda... :)
crusader: never heard of that law, but I surely can relate to it :)

I think it was coined by Ted Sturgeon, a TV scifi writer in the 60's. (Star Trek, Flash Gordon, Lost in Space, etc)
It's because it's a drunken birthday bash to begin with.
well funny funny-demos are fun to watch. But looks like kg went overboard this year and changed fun with ugly. I hope the beer was nice though :)
All hail the people who try to create good stuff.
amen to that.
..and if all else fails? we could always just knock out a few werkkzeug-prods for some instant recognition. :)

because 90% of the attendants are lamers..
im just kidding...
no you are not..
very much crap demos.. i only got to see the Outracks demo because the Boozoholic one crashed my computer, and where the hell is the Portal Process demo? i wanna see it.. too bad I didnt finish my demo in time... but prepare for something "stylish" for Norvegia.
PP is still working on a final, it should come soon..
And for you other people: I wonder how many of you are actually aware of the fact that there were only about 30 people present. 2 good demos out of 30 people isn't THAT bad.. breakpoint had 1500 people and not that many more good demos ;)

still nothing on scene.org tho.
I call bullshit on your statement Leia. The proportion of decent releases to people is unsound.
I'd say there's usually a baseline of 2 decent releases on any given demo party(*). No icecream for you! ;)
(*) with the notable exception of TP2002. Man, was that painful.

shifter, sf2k, anyone?
hell, the jumalauta victoryparty was almost as big as kindergarden. there is a relation to amount of people and amount of decent releases, being that very small parties tend to have fewer quality releases. 60 or 800 sceners doesn't matter. 60 or 30 does.

agree with: skrebbel
disagree with: shifter
or well.. you might be right about there being 2 decent releases on (almost) every party, but from that and up is a bit harder if there are fewer people..
i doubt you'd get the 52 mekka demos released at scene event, for example..

52? Never claimed anything of the sort. Thank god that never happened. Anyway, you're just miffed that you don't get any icecream. Go away.
skreb: heh, good one. Calling upon the elder gods of statistics, one *could* claim that 100% of the releases at sf2k were excellent though ;)

statistically speaking, ofcourse
oh nuey, i thought you knew me better.. i don't LIKE ice cream.. (or anything else for that matter)
oh and xbit.. get a grip :) you weren't even there, nor did progress release anything, so you shouldn't be talking about releases..

that reminds me - where can i find all those supercool squirrelz-releases? can't wait to get a look at those classics one more time. :)
hmm.. well gloom.. i wasn't complaining about the releases at kindergarden in the first place, so that one hit sky high over :)
i was merely saying that if you wanted better releases at kindergarden, you could show up and release something yourself, instead of complaining about others.
oh and... i don't see why the democompo should count as "all the releases" either...
