p.s. I think the part I meant is called 'Wippe' in german. According to their website, a replacement costs just 1,20€ :-) (still..it breaks easily in my experience)
now that you mention it , one of my sliders is broken but still rock stable. since this headphone is soooo simple, it could easily be replaced with a alu casing. if you dont have the tools for it, even a nicely filed piece if wood would do the job.

actually I was quite relieved to learn that the replacement part is so cheap/affordable.
the store where I bought my phones (or maybe their supplier) wanted to overcharge me for it (~45€ instead of 1,20!)

i just bought a pair of those koss porta pros everybody is mad about for 27€ at amazon
