hitchhikr, thanks for compiling and uploading rg2! happy to see that the new rg2-skin works.. i wasn't sure about that when i checked in the latest revision (which was made without actually testing it).. :D
wysiwtf: we did it now to celebrate the fact that the last company that held rights to the code is now officially dead! we've been *meaning* to open-source it since 2008 or so. go figure...
giz: i did get it to compile and verified that all the intros basically work (except for some particle issues with einschlag that have been there for >6 years). cf. "vs2010" branch. i would've told you if it was broken :)
ok, i stand corrected: it was actually tested, i just didn't know it :) anyways, great to see rg2 alive again.. and if only for historical reasons..
Just wondering.. What is the latest workzeug version used today by FR ?
wz4
note that we'll be publishing wz4, but not the bits that have been written but not used in any released productions yet :)
Which bits are that? ;)
The 2s. We'll leave the conventional 0s and 1s in.
Btw, sauron would not like it, wz4 opensource ;) than hè doesnt have à life purpose anymore ;)
Great idea to release all that sources! \:D/
ryg: same with this build:
3>PostBuildEvent:
3> Description: kkrunchy
3> kkrunchy 0.23 alpha 3 >> radical exe packer (c) f. giesen 2003-2007
3>
3> - program database successfully loaded
3> - preprocessing, filtering & reslicing
3> - packing [################################] => 23621 bytes (in 0.39s)
3>EXEC : - error : (internal) depacker link failed
Of course I'm not asking you to fix this just letting you know. I prefer the old version anyway, it unpacks a lot faster :)

@fr guys: great thing you still working on it for all the guys wanting to try it out as it's whole working thing.
even tho i don't understand ?:| it completely why you release YOUR tools in sources. ;)

bocy: looks like your assembler is outputting bad RDOFFs (see remarks in HOW_TO_BUILD.txt). which version of nasm are you using?
A very very old one it turns out :) I'll check with an updated version
Yep, that fixed it.
Ryg: just a mere trolling attempt and the wish for more demo-goodness from yours =)
on a side note: what is it to assume you dumping your demosystem cause you moving to the next gen?

D.Fox: haha, it must be true! it's written on heise...
D.Fox: Your party has already settled a bit too well in people minds :D
They did get EVERYTHING wrong here. Fantastic :)
yumeji: altona/wz4 support both dx9 and dx11. also a rudimentary linux/gl2 port, and fully working console ports [wii, ps2, ps3, xbox360] that need to be removed before we can ship.
DFox: There, I fixed it for you:
Looks better, thanks :-)
