Great photos, thanks!
awesome pictures indeed.
Your pics have a lot more color than the reality, what kind of sorcery is this!? :O
I am so scene that even my glasses have environment mapping!
Is it realtime, though?
Totally, even with infinite recursion when introduced to another object with similar mapping.

what glasses are those? they look nifty to take them for a ride :)
they came with the clothes, boots and motorcycle.
SPACEPENIS!
i'm gonna kick dub's head off.
These are Swiss Eye Hunter sports glasses.
Just watching some YouTube vids and I just have to thank Romeo Knight, Xerxes and Bendik for their kickass concert! (I only got to see the BP ones over the stream, so it was a nice change to actually get yo meet you guys.)
BTW maybe using a service like UStream as additional alternative to the "actual size" party stream could help spreading the news about demoscene. UStream can be directly embedded in social networks like facebook. So if spreaded, people could watch the partystream directly in the newsfeed of fb for example.
I think the problem wasn't the relaying, it was getting the stream out of the partyplace.
Gargaj: From what I understood, it wasn't Viprinet fault, but some other company in Denmark (not 100% sure about that though).
Blame Denmark ;-(
I heard on scenesat that there was ustream?!

Tomoya: You are correct, the problem was not with the Uplink. The problem was at the streaming server, which we had no control over as we had been loaned it for free. By Monday, the whole thing had melted down and nobody was available remotely to restart it, so as a last resort, Ziphoid pulled out the Scenesat Ustream account and we rigged one of the encoding machines to blast that with data for the prizegiving ceremony. (Once we actually got that going, it worked surprisingly well, despite the fact that the network wasn't really set up to do QoS to that.)
We are going to look at different streaming platforms for next year, but given that the whole stream setup costs a lot of money for a feature that doesn't really bring anything to the people who pay for the party (our lovely visitors) we cannot make any promises.

P.S.: Last year's problem was a local networking issue that impacted the network uplink. This years was not (we did have a host of little issues on site, but the big one was definitely our streaming platform on the net disintegrating mid-way).
