But I don't usually make demodreams even if I think it's funny to have some of them. I also dream of dreamy algorithms and impossible CPC demos lately!

This morning I had a dream that I'd won the wild compo at Sundown with an epic stop-motion animation. It was called 'Octopus', and the highlight of it was a choreographed fight between a superhero and an ironing board. However, after the party it occurred to me that I had no memory of actually making it, and slowly realised that I'd just found it on youtube and somehow genuinely convinced myself that I'd done it. I knew that I had to confess before someone else found it on the internet, because otherwise nobody would ever believe that it was an honest mistake, and I'd be banished from the demoscene. Conveniently rc55 was in my house at the time, but he wanted to talk about promotion for next year's Sundown instead, and I woke up before I had chance to tell him.
Let's talk about next years Sundown promotion!

I dream about demoparties regularly. Most of the time it's nothing special, but in one dream Breakpoint was held in a huge artificial cave in a sand mine. In another one, I was making out with a scener (not a real person) while watching an Amiga seminar.

A few times I've seen dreams reminiscent of demos... not so much demoparty dreams though. I guess it's only natural when my dreams are abstract most of the time anyway.
From what I dreamed on July 30th this year:
I'm in a house which becomes filled with steam. I ask my brother where this steam comes from, and he responds that it is probably the washing machine which is running a program called "Cognoscere". I hear that MFX demos in general are quite bad at generating steam when run with a washing machine, but Cognoscere is one of the worst at that.
February 17th:
I'm at Assembly. This year's honorary guests are George W. Bush and some French politician, who, most of the time, are forgotten in the VIP sauna and no one knows their whereabouts. Most of the corridor space is filled with tables that sell Legos and all kinds of do-it-yourself kits such as a "Youscope" kit.

I'm reading a new edition of "Freax" where all the demoscene-related content has been removed altogether and replaced with some mumbo-jumbo about movies, sci-fi visions and stuff. The book is illustrated in a style similar to some Usborne computer books of the 1980s.

The only demoscene dream I've had so far was the afternoon of the Sunday of Blockparty 09, on my way back home. In the dream, Blockparty 09 lasted a week and for some reason mushed into a science fiction convention and so we were all talking about books and making costumes for the Masquerade.
And then there was that one with the zombies and Gargaj....but less a demoparty dream than a dream with a scener in it.

Craft by lft should run better on washing machines! It's a µC demo afterall!
last night i had a dream of nosfe and me having some sort of DJ battle with chiptunes, using a strange and complicated player program that is handled with two mice connected to one computer. kb was hanging out on a sofa at the back enjoying (?) the music, and then yoda appeared at some point and served us some roasted zucchini and onions! wtf... :P
last night i had a dream about a demo that featured a submarine that got stuck in a cave!
i still dream of an "adok"-free-environment ;)

That's probably because demoscene dreams are packed with kkrunchy and trigger false virus alerts in your brain's virus scanner.
i tend to have ones with empty Function party halls and missing projectors etc. around early september.
