Having thought about it & -the flippant shit-stirring come-back.
In my experience it's just good netiquette on any forum other than say /b/, to put NSFW tags and a link for pics/content which maybe questionable rather than post the raw material.
All of us here on pouet are likely to be having a quick look at this page at some time whether at home, work or in a public place.
I have nothing against nudity - quite like it actually. But I do have issues with inappropriate pics being on a board that isn't tagged as nsfw specifically. Or at least not tagged nsfw.
On the other hand I personally don't see a painted My Little Pony (gruesome as it may be and badly gimped to boot!) as nsfw. If I had shown horse gore then I might agree more with your point. Otherwise you say potato & I say NSFW
