oh, i'd love to have a tent to pass out on
I was more hoping to pass out inside the tent, but I'm not making any promises.
"Please note that the dinner for Friday has to be ordered and paid for Wednesday 2rd of November the latest."
Indeed, I shall pay it before the tword of November!

That's what you get when you reuse too much of the text from last year (like, all, except the actual numbers) :D
phobium: I bet you can put up your tent in the field next to the campfire area.. And there's also a small forest nearby if you don't want to be too close to random drunk people..

isn't it cold and snowy this time of year in norway? :)
If it's really cold I'll bring my winter sleeping bag. :)
No snow yet! Judging from the overall coldness outside I'd say we still have 2-3 weeks to go (at least) for that..
The weather forecast says 8 degrees...
What?!? No frosty landscape for the beautiful trainride? They should cut half the train-fare when they're obviously not able to deliver! :-)
No worries, you'll get the late autumn landscape instead. It's way more demoscene when the leaves are red, brown and orange..
When are you arriving btw?
When are you arriving btw?
I heard that in Holland, the leaves are pink, cyan and bright green.
Punqtured: What times will you be arriving / leaving? .. Maybe we can do a short tour through Norway this time ;)
Gloom, most Dutch leaves I've seen are green. Supergreen in fact.
leijaa, SunSpire: My flight departs Copenhagen Airport at 09.15. Then there's the mandatory trainride to Trondheim, a quick change and the rest of the way to Haga. The flight time is 2 hours, the trainrides about 1 hour, waitingtime about 2 hours. So probably sometime around 14-15'ish. I'll arrive together with Blueberry and Mentor (we're having a small pre-bootcamp on thursday to work on entries) ;-)
@SunSpire: A "short tour through Norway" seems like quite a long walk :-D And Haga is probably quickly covered ;-) And the fact that I haven't had enough time to work on my entry makes every minute count, so I guess there won't a lot of tourism on my part this time.

yesssssssssss!
I'll start and hopefully finish my entry tonight ^^
Punqtured: I guess that's friday you're travelling, right? My mate Jan and I will be arriving thursday and we got 2 extra days after the party. We just bought a tent and checked in one extra bag for the flight. We're preparing for some chilly november camping :D ... As long as there won't be any heavy rain or frosty weather, we should be fine! (I hope)

These hand / body warming pads are rather cool. They produce heat of up to 50 degrees Celsius for about an hour, through crystallisation. They're re-usable (you need another source of heat to recharge them, tho) and rather cheap too. I hope I can find a few of those at the store before my departure, would be awesome! :D

Ticket paid! Time to start hacking together some stuff!
kusma: already? :)
Anyone has a reasonably fast Windows machine I can borrow during KG to finish my intro on? Working on my old laptop in 4fps is not fun... :)
Blueberry: What are your requirements?
I meant "GPU requirements" :)
datsua: Just something at least as fast as the GF9600GT I have in my desktop machine at home. A high-end laptop less than two years old should cut it.
Blueberry: Then my travel laptop isn't fast enough (geforce 260m).
The deadline for preordering the food has passed. Everyone who wants dinner for Saturday will have to order and pay it at the party place..
