offtopic: @p01, great stuff on your website!

Nice, actually Cupid/Padua (http://www.wait-till-i.com/) is working for them.
Well bugger me sideways, I didn't know Heilmann had ties to the demoscene directly.
@p01: WebGL is still very hit and miss on Windows, not counting IE. Especially Firefox is blacklisting a whole range of slightly older ATI cards that were running WebGL in the alpha stage. At some point they saw the need to blacklist adapters based on driver versions. Major bummer :(
(also: demoparty in your town)
not loving the whole randomly selected thing, but voted. This was an awesome initiative and I hope it continues . . .
wullon: How come some/most 1k prods from DemoJS appear there as *auto-submission* and gl1k cotton candy or orange joy aren't there ?
(...)
Oh, I see, there was some WTF pre-selection: leaving a couple of lousy prods + "wasted" 3 slots on variants of 2 prods already in the selection. o_ô

I think it's a mistake, will notify them.
Ok.
Honestly I don't mind if my prod isn't there: I completely forgot about the Mozilla Labs Demo thing and in my mind only the #1 entries at DemoJS were in the overall compo.
I just feel this pre-selection was made by a monkey and we are missing out on some interesting entries.

At least our prod had to be manually submitted into the compo.. Dunno why some were autosubmitted, but there wasn't any pre-selection.
huh, I assumed there was preselection, hadn't gotten to the point of seeing if any of the ones from my party were on there, though I connected the folks who made them with Tobias
Results are out.
That "WebGL Water" entry is very nice.
