Sounds like their staff is not very well trained. The on-duty manager has been removed from the vicinities and replaced with a Scenepoints certified hotelier.
I'm setting up a scenepoints to bitcoin exchange as we speak!

More serious question: will anyone be taking a mac with a decent gfx card I could run a demo on in the comp? Intel GMA in my laptop won't quite cut it :D

Semi-serious answer.
I'm reluctant to suggest mine, as I'm still in the throes of 'proud owner of new machine syndrome', but if you're really really stuck, will a 2011 OS X Lion Mac Mini with the Radeon card (not the cheapie integrated graphics low end model!) be sufficient? Yes, I ponied up the extra cash like a mad fool in case someone decided to make some more Mac demos ;-)
I think that would, actually. Somehow I thought the GPU in the mac mini was quite low end, but having had a quick look it's probably quite a bit faster than my iMac at work :)
We'll see how it goes, perhaps somebody will have something even faster, and I still need to actually complete the demo - time is getting tight, and I've very little to show apart from some back-end tech.

2010 MacBook Pro, Snow Leopard, NVIDIA GeForce 320M? Don't know how decent that is relative to others, but certainly available if you need it...
I've no idea either, but mainly I just want to know it'll be possible to run it at better than 160x120 at 10fps :D Either of those will do, so thanks for the offers!

how is it with sleeping at the party place i had read something about that i didnt book any hotel. hope it wont give any trouble to sleep in your chairr on on the ground with your matress and sleeping bag.

Hmm.. not sure if I can make it :( In the next week or two I'll have a fairly major app release, and I'll be busy as hell dealing with all the marketing crap. Still considering it though, and still aiming to finish this demo :)
