judging from the cover this ought to be an awesome duck-step release!11
seriously: nice one !
soundwise, the IT tracks hold up well against the technically superior RNS tracks.
On a side-note: I really wonder whether commercially releasing "scene" music is really worth the bucks earned. (I'd prefer a good ole "music disk"). *shrug*

"commercially" releasing music could be worth the time spent. You never know. Plus, I don't think we are doing scene music.
"scene music" "commercially".. The labelboss got in touch with me and wanted to release music. I happened to pick some tunes that were made with a tracker. Then I picked Kaneel as my split-partner. That's all. No "scene" involved, just music.
Well, this Seine has been involved somehow.
hey! it happened!
distance: well you did post on pouet about it :P
Ah. If it's the moment to find a guilty, let me take it all.
Afterall, unless someone come and tell me I'm not a part of the scene, I thought (with some very good reasons) some people would be interested by knowing distance and I are both on the same split 3"CD (limited to 300 copies guys, RUNRUNRUN).
Now, my point is: do we have to sound "scene" to be a part of the scene.
Later we might discuss about the usual "undergroundoftheinternet" vs "theevilphysicalmedias". I suggest we start by accusing the evil majors, doing the usual amalgams people are used to abuse of.
At some point, someone will shout "amiga" and then we'll discuss about ft2 vs it2 and I'm pretty sure 4mat will come to join us.
All in all, only the ones who really care about music will actually listen to this 4trackers and notice it's actually more than not bad at all and they might thank pouet for letting them know. Am I right uh? Am I right???
ps: and I'm a little girl.

you could also look reward to the old ones! (especially since you would need approximatly 2 years to listen everything distance released as lackluster, esa ruoho and many more)
kaneel: i don't know about evil majors and physicalmedias and such, but count me in for the anagrams. If i get real good at anagrams, i can get into mensa.
Dear psonice,
I don't think it's going to work as amalgam != anagram.
Try again next year!

Hi, I've got a track on a digital download compilation from Psychonavigation Records
Lackluster: Be The Trim Tab
-- it'll be out in July 2011, and on the same compilation we'll see: The Future Sound of London, Spacetime Continuum, The Black Dog, Norken, MoveD, Sense and many others.

A lot of good names on that compilation, Distance. I'll make sure to check it out when it's released. It's been a while since I've heard stuff from Scanner, Robert Leiner, Spacetime Continuum etc ...
Thanks for the heads up :)

Probably because "blablabla", dont kill the thread, post release, go away nicely. (and really, digital download comp organised by labels could belong here, psychonav AINT a netlabel... and I would add many labels switched to digital downloads as serious releases)
No. Go and make a "Scener's music as digital downloads" thread about it.
Right Shifter, right.
There, I fixed it.
i did an italomix under my moniker Paolo Malini, it's available at your local italian:

Since I forgot to mention the other drone ambient album, Esa Ruoho: Riversmouth, which I also sell in physical form, here's an image or two of it:
I still have what 3-4 copies left or so.
then it's back to digital-only.
