It is important to know that Maali is nothing compared to a new and fresh started troll like mine!
Started up a small forum for our circlejerking group, feel free to join and discuss everything regarding the demoscene. Really need some stiff members.

What the fuck is wrong with you people. It's not like he boiled your bunnies or anything - he started a forum, which unwritten law is it against?
It's also incidentally more than most of the thread posters here have done. Combined.

You know, gathering random people together to talk about demos is not demogroup. Also, by seeding forum discussion with topics on how to change background color with ASM on mode 13h is really not the freshest approach that peaks interest.
Also if skill level is on beginner level, I really can't see why would you discuss stuff on your own forum and try to get people to help you _there_ instead of gamedev.net / beyond3d etc where you could actually pick some fights on real life engineering problems such as "how deferred lighting actually is good / sucks balls".

Ah, so you ARE the same sex-comment-addicted fake-user from before. Good to know.My parents just nailed eachother.
No Trojans! Spartans are OK tho.
No Spartans, Trojans are OK tho.
Good luck with the forum Demon[DHC], hope it turns out to be something awesome!
No Trojans, Durex are OK though.
And what gargaj said (even if I'm perhaps included in his comment :) Maybe the new forum isn't a brilliant idea (we'll have to wait and see if it walks or falls..) but it's still better than any amount of forum trolling ;)

oh come on. it'll fall and we all know it. telling deamon "good luck" when we're all sure that it's a failure from the beginning is just ridiculous.
maybe not everyone here said it the nicest way, but lying just to avoid hurting someone's feelings, sounds a bit over the top to me.
deamon, nice of you to take initiative, but your project is doomed. sry.

that said, deamon, it looks like you're also looking for group members to make demos with. that might be a significantly more successful endeavour than trying to get people to come to an empty forum. i'd focus on that if i were you.
@skrebbel, he's already got plenty of people telling him his project has failed before it's began, does it hurt him to hear a single "good luck"? Nothing is guaranteed after all..
see, there you go again with the false hope.
*burp*

THIS. Gather a community of people doing interesting stuff first, and *then*, when they have a need to communicate which isn't catered for elsewhere, you can think about building a forum. Don't build a forum as a way of solving a problem that doesn't even exist yet.
psonice: you learnt from the best!
gargaj: i coded a forum once... remember?!?!?!?!!? :PPP
You will all cry in awe when my demo comes out after 25 years of development!
