GeForce GTS 450

Anyone here already tested the GTS 450?
I need a replacement for my old 7900 GT(X? not 100% sure) PCIe card from 2006 but I'm not really sure whether the GTS 450 will fit into the old machine.
What power supply does the GTS 450 need?
Will I need a new mainboard (the old one has PCIe (16x iirc) slots etc...)?

I prefer a Ferrari F430
It's a rebranded version without Tom Selleck.
I have tested it, and it's damned fast. With regards to your other questions: Google FFS.
Ferrari? This is much closer in name:
The Monteverdi 450 GTS:
ATI has a better price/performance ratio...
Wow, I've never even heard of that Monteverdi... Looks like a bad copy of the De Tomaso Mangusta:
Its a stealth plane!
On a subject: Yes GTS450 is good card, you can get it as passive cooled from Sparkle at least. http://www.sparkle.com.tw/News/SPGTS450/news_SPGTS450_en.html

Nvidia has better price/drivers ratio.
yes lambos are much more <3
just check if you have a 500W or more PSU!

lol
I wont buy an ATI card... I prefer NVGL ;)
Nice cars...
So the 450 is a good decision to get a cheap NVGL 4.0 & DX11 card with fermi architecture - right?

This is much better:
Las yes. AND the plus point of getting it silent is a win.
yes it's true that it's a good card. I'm also going to buy it.
+1, but that actually means that you should develop on ATI as a consequence. ;)

...or just code to specs instead of "it compiles on nvidia, so it must be ok". NVGL != OGL
~120w is IMHO too much for a passive card btw - better get one with a fan. Both performance and price slots in between 5750 and 5770, so it's fair enough (maybe except that I paid the same for 5770 a year ago ;)

#version 1x0
and stick to the according spec fixes indeed 99% of compatibility issues...
