We are planning 3DELan 2011, and don't get scared by the fact that the name are holding the lettercombination LAN. This is a party for both gamers and sceners! And I'm really hoping we'll see some sceners there!

:) As it's also mentioned in the comporules, if you want another platform or hardware. Contact compochief (that would be me), and what I would say is, if you bring your own machine we could set it up to run your demo. But this would have to be discussed :)
advocating against ati in compomachines:
I thought ATI's are actually faster than nvidias now.
I'm no expert on this but it seems that if you write shaders that compile on ATI they will compile on nvidia, but if you write shaders that compile on nvidia they won't work on ATI because ATI's glsl compiler is very strict about types.

of course when I said they "won't work" I meant they might not work.
Thanks for that one Insectecutor. I will check a bit around if I could get a compomachine with nVIDIA-card.
From my experience (working on mainly ATI boxes) I think an ATI compo machine is actually a good idea too.

Response: I'm sorry, but it's a lot of minors there, so no ;) But I know sceners can have fun without booze!
nosfe: Well, last year at the same time it was about -30C, but normal temp is between -5 and -20. And as I have heard some stories about you from Solskogen, I think it's okay that it is so cold you have to stay inside ;)

I'm afraid so the_Ye-Ti. I hope to see some sober sceners tho, would be nice to let them in, and not make them camp in a tent in -30C.
