Tribalized / Gothica Commodore Logo
category: offtopic [glöplog]
I think about getting the C= Logo tattoed, but i´d prefered it in a gothic or tribal style...maybe someone could help me out?
sounds like blasphemy to me!
If I read one more sentence with "tattoo" and "tribal" in it I'm going to vomit.
tribal? no, please.
gothic? if you mean making it all fancy with lots of little lines and circles, then yes, might be cool.

i always thought the USB logo was a cool tattoo motif.
if you're going for c64 tattooes you might as well go all in and take the original logos.
hhhhhhhhhhhhhh
now you owe me a lot of beer!
there's nothing better than the original logo
Yep, true, but imho the original one is a li'l bit too simple/banal for a tatoo.
sim: I agree. A tribal motif will make it much less banal.
what he wants is a C64 logo with a skull and ribbons.
It may be simple, but if the tribal tatoos are now out of fashion is it wise to go for something like that? At least with the original logo, you know where you're going to stand with it in 10 years :)
Psonice, are you implying that tattoos are some sort of fashion statement and not a statement of spirit and individuality?
on your bum!
maali: the cbm logo is no good as an arse arrow, it has two points so you'd need a double O ring.
Sagacity: A tattoo is a statement of individuality (well, sometimes, a lot of idiots get them as a fashion statement..) but the styles change with the fashion of the times. The fashion part is going to date, the statement.. well, depends what happens in your life :)

psonice: sagacity is pulling your leg
ah, right. Ok. I'll be awake in 10 more minutes, it's nearly time to leave work :)
The C= logo looks kind of like a jellyfish if you flip it over. I just noticed. You should head for that direction

That 6502 tattoo is crazy
it can look like a grinning evil face too if you rotate it.
If you're trying to disguise it you probably shouldn't get a tattoo of it. Get a tattoo of something more abstractly geeky, e.g.
.
Of course that's not from a C64 PCB but it's just an idea.
