i never understood why people make these demo editing GUIs. the workload overhead is so huge!
why not just put all the values and top-level animation/design settings in some scripts (lua anyone? spidermonkey/v8? 64k? srsly, windows scripting host) that auto-load on every change, plus possibly some sync tool? who needs a "make demo" button if you can pause and skip your demo and it reloads settings on the fly?
look, if you're a 100% colorblind genius coder with a passionate and great graphics dudes with good ideas but an allergy for code, then go ahead and make werkkzeug (surprise! they did). but hey: nearly no team is composed like that. drop the bull already.

We should make all demos controllable entirely by midi and ask the team to do it realtime at demoparties instead of hardcoding everything.
