category: offtopic [glöplog]
What was the best game ever coded in BASIC?
Dunno, let me see what I have.
Pirates!
Harry der Fensterputzer
Gorillas (i think that was the name).
Stroker
qbasic gorillas
I made a great text-adventure in 1989. But I can't remember on what tape it's on. It had custom fonts and starred a samurai!
So maybe upload them somewhere!

Depends on which Platform, which Dialect... Basic != Basic.

Good point Saga. All Basic languages mutated between different computers. Mokmok would need to be very specific about which Basic he's interested in, otherwise he'd need to tweak some/most of the commands.
Also some good QuickBasic games are Wetspot 2, Wandering Hamster, 'Ghini Run and Kids of Karendow Chapter.
...Chapter 1.
DONKEY!
nibbles, unbeatable!
Pointless Drive \o\ \o/ /o/
TIE INVADERS!
