You can just replace the FMOD timer call with a stub giving the fake render time, just as with any other timer. I'm not sure if my demorender tool did this or not, but newer kkapture certainly does it; see http://www.pouet.net/topic.php?which=1917&page=19.
slyspy: Well, the 2d layers move on a constant delta while the objects move on a timer. I'm referring to the clouds graphic behind the objects on the first scene after the first tunnel of rectangles. If that's not what I meant to say then I apologize.
Sesse: Uses BASS, not FMOD. But that's not the problem, it's timing in the demo itself. In any case, I'm compensating it using mvtools and a very wide search radius and overlap.
Of course, all of this means nothing if slyspy and the rest of UF don't approve -- slyspy, willing to give permission for WSE to be included in MC3?
