alright I wasn't there last year, but 500 kr? .. haven't paid that much for a party since .. ever .. i'm still gonna come though ... but .. budget?

Yup, I'm not keen on the price either, but that part is out of my control. Basically what it boils down to is 150kr 'membership' to deal with the 'handling' of finances/accounts/planning/members, etc. 350kr is for the actual event ticket. I've tried to discus this numerous times with people of 'the funny farm' and gotten nowhere. Supposedly a membership is absolutely needed. But if that's the case, why not make it 10kr? The mind boggles.
The pricing is the only thing that's out of my control, but it's the part I'd like to have control over, more than anything. I really would like to do something about it other than give a shitty answer, but that's about all I can do for now. If there would be plans to have farmfest (it'll have to change it's name) next year, I'll look into renting a place and then having control over the pricing.

if there is any support for it, i might do a mini-party at home some time (next spring/summer?). i have room for ~20 sitting people in the closed garrage and have a football track within 100 meters.
... and if there's even more support, we might be able to house ~75-100 people in a big party tent (after it has been used in a byfest that occurs in week 33 every year). the tent is placed on a football track with showers, toilets and kitchen (and a petang track!)

I live a 10 minute drive from the party but 500,- is a lot and I'm not sure I'll have any days off to visit. How much for a day pass or a casual visit?

Nice. Party intranet is nearly all done. Just need to set up the web/dns/ftp servers on the box and copy all the shit across. Need to also fill some of the 14gb space on the box with some music for motivational purposes to encourage some party-coding. If you know of any trance/dubstep/psytrance/chiptune etc mixtapes that you think would help people to pull their finger out at the party, let me know.

Looks like the filter on the pool has given up, so the pool is turning green. Michael and Lone want to just take the pool down now and put it away, so there'll be no pool this year. :( Sorry!

Ok, Michael has now given up with trying to beat the algae in the pool and changed his mind about putting the pool away, so he's drained the whole thing completely, cleaned the linen, fixed the filter, and filled it up again. The pool is once again filled with beautiful clear water.
Bear in mind, filling the pool is nearly half of our water allowance for the year and we've done it twice this year already, so we're nearly through all of our water. But the fucking pool is back! It's worth it.
