The story (and definetly the movie) is in a way even sicker than the Morbus Gravis series [and that story is fuckin' sick] !

Also, judging a "superhero" comic like that from a movie trailer = Fail.

...I consider Morbus Gravis pretty grown up stuff, Exin. You would too, if you'd take a look at it.
Also I didn't "judge" just from a trailer.
But today a trailer almost gives you the key points.
The movie _was_ like the freakin' trailer, although twisted from the original line to provide a Hollywood ending ... sort of.
You gotta distinguish between real adult stuff (an actual story, guts, violence & sex ... the usual) and the "costume superhero" stuff which mostly attracts, well, kids & teenagers.
Now, here you've got a costume-hero teenage story plot mixed with pulp action á la Boondock Saints, suicide, guts, violence, dealing with death ... and an 11 y/o kid who kills men by the dozens and gets beaten half to death. This is just over the top.
anyway... she isn't exactly a superheroine but...
