Quisten: Yes, unimportant. When looking at Alexis TEX-ASS, all 4Ks seem pointless. ;)
Announcing new release immediately under that huge tex-ass is also pointless..

i just deleted all the songs from vista to prepare for breakpoint2009 demo compo rules, and unfortunatly the texas "save" version does not seem to use the "extrasave" soundtrack, it complains with "error: sample music". which is really a pitty because i wanted to see it again....
chaos: don't you think deleting those is a bit excessive? I mean, I remember the sour look on your face when Sephiron and I announced the discovery after the compo, but isn't the technique comperable to using gm.dls?

On Vista, the "Media" and "Music samples" directories will be deleted. The contents of these directories change from version to version, and depending on their contents is every bit as fragile as import by ordinal is.
Nevermind :)

this is not true afaik.
chaos... i ound that problem
it searches for the sample music directory, but it doesnt use the contents. (it's a bug) So delete teh contents of the directory but leave the directory itself and it should work
